I’m thrilled to announce that Proxywars has received a complete makeover! This site overhaul marks a significant milestone in the evolution of our shop, and I’ve taken this opportunity to enrich our catalog with miniatures that have always been close to my heart.

A Renewed Passion for History

With this new site, I’ve breathed new life into fascinating historical periods through meticulously crafted miniatures. Among the most notable additions are Norman cavalry and an extensive selection dedicated to the Hundred Years' War. This period, with its epic battles and legendary heroes, has always captivated me, and now it’s well represented at Proxywars.

Edward the Black Prince, for example, is one such figure I’ve chosen to paint. Despite his war crimes, seeing him on the battlefield gives me a unique satisfaction: the chance to make him pay for his misdeeds, even in a fictional setting.

As you browse our collection, you’ll discover three major historical periods: the Dark Ages, the Hundred Years' War, and the War of Scottish Independence. Each of these eras holds a special place in my heart, and I’m delighted to share them with you. But this is just the beginning; I plan to add ancient content soon, another passion of mine.

The Interconnection Between History and Fantasy

My love for history is matched only by my passion for fantasy. That’s why, alongside these historical additions, I’ve also dedicated a lot of time to developing an army that’s particularly dear to me in the Middle Rings universe: the Harads. With a little imagination, these miniatures could easily be used to recreate the Crusades against historical medieval Europeans.

This month, we’ve also welcomed fantasy miniatures inspired by the oldhammer style, and this is just the beginning—there are still so many armies to cover. More miniatures, including the Tomb Kings, are on their way. These additions remind me of why I started this journey; it’s a return to the roots that brings me immense pleasure.

Moving Towards New Horizons

Even with all these new releases, I haven’t forgotten about the many collections that remain to be completed. Each new miniature, each new project, brings me closer to my goal: offering a complete and immersive gaming experience where history and fantasy intersect.
