Over the past month, I’ve been working almost nonstop on something I’ve wanted to do since the very first Damocles terrains: a complete, fully playable Bug Army faction.
Not just a few units, but a full range—infantry, specialists, bikers, heavy creatures, elites—sculpted specifically to match the twisted architecture of the Warcamp biome.

With the Bug Army Warcamp Kickstarter now underway, it felt like the right moment to take Damocles one step further. Each biome deserves its own battlefield atmosphere, its own identity… and now, its own army. Terrain and miniatures shouldn’t feel disconnected—they should feel like they grew from the same world.

While the Warcamp provides the landscape of this conflict, the miniature range I’m sculpting will bring its soldiers to life. My goal is simple: when Part 2 of the Warcamp releases, players will be able to print an entire table and an entire army from the same biome, ready to play with the upcoming Damocles Wars ruleset.

I’ve also been revisiting some older environments, including the Industrial biome. New 50×25 mm oval bases are nearly finished, and they’ll be uploaded soon so players can update their existing armies with cohesive basing that matches the newer standards.

Damocles continues to evolve year after year, and the Bug Army marks an important milestone—a bridge between terrain, lore, rules, and now fully printable factions.
It’s the direction the project has been heading for a long time, and seeing it finally take shape has been incredibly motivating.
