Hey there, fellow hobbyists!
I wanted to take a moment to give you a glimpse behind the curtain and share what's been happening behind the scenes at ProxyWars headquarters. It's been a whirlwind of creativity lately, and I'm excited to fill you in on all the details.
Last month, I dedicated a significant amount of time to fine-tuning the balance of our rule system. Ensuring that everything works seamlessly has been a top priority, and I'm proud to say that we're nearly there. While there's still about 5% of work remaining on the current rules and the integration of special rules, I'm incredibly satisfied with the progress we've made. We're inching closer to perfection with each passing day.
On another front, I've been delving deep into the lore of the ProxyWars universe. While there are still about 60% of mysteries surrounding the events leading up to ProxyWars, the main storyline is firmly in place. Currently, I'm crafting the characters, locations, and events for the first novel that will introduce readers to this expansive universe. And let me tell you, the creative process has been nothing short of exhilarating.
Simultaneously, I've been hard at work on the miniatures and army of Anubis. With just three months left on this faction's Patreon cycle, which will feature prominently in the novel, I'm feeling incredibly motivated by the creative journey ahead. Plus, I have several other factions in the pipeline that are poised to make their debut later this year, including the rebellious Greanan.
In addition to all of this, I've been busy designing the scenery for a new city: the ruins of Tenkyo. As always, this includes modular buildings, accessories, and small details to bring the city to life on your tabletop.
While I'm aware that I've fallen behind on adding miniatures from other creators to my shops, rest assured that I'm committed to catching up as quickly as possible—even if it means a few sleepless nights!
In summary, I'm fully immersed in a creative process that I'm incredibly passionate about. However, I realize that I haven't been communicating as much about it as I should, and I'm committed to changing that moving forward.
Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you for being a part of this incredible journey with me.
Happy gaming!
William
