A Summer Full of New Releases and Exciting Projects

I wanted to share the latest updates from Proxywars and give you an overview of our recent activities and upcoming projects. Here are the main points we've focused on this summer:

New Miniatures Added

We have recently added numerous miniatures to our catalog, perfect for serving as proxies for games such as OPR, The Old World, 9th Age, Saga, and Lord of the Rings. These new creations are designed to enrich your gaming experiences and bring variety to your armies.

Collaboration with Tournament Organizers

I reached out to around a hundred tournament organizers to offer them free sets of goodies for their players, and a good number of them accepted our offer. I believe this initiative will have a positive impact on our brand. If you know any tournament organizers or gaming clubs, please tell them to contact me directly to take advantage of this offer.

Market Evolution and Promotions

To be honest, sales have been declining since the beginning of the year, with the last three months in deficit. Unfortunately, this trend is widespread in our industry. We have one month of reserves left, but if business doesn't pick up in September, we'll have to consider more drastic measures. Several factors contribute to this situation, including the lack of new hobbyists, the economic climate, and the cost of the latest 3D printers.

Personal Paintings

Among the many models we've recently added, I couldn't resist printing some for myself. Here are a few painted models to serve as Harad, Orc, and Goblin proxies for Lord of the Rings.Looking ahead, I will be uploading more historical fantasy and futuristic miniatures.

Progress on the Damocles Project

Last month, my nephew visited Japan, and we took the opportunity to run a campaign in Tolkien's world using Damocles rules. This experience motivated me to advance the rules and fine-tune the final details to make the battles truly look the way I envision.

I also shared with my nephew a draft of the first novel I want to write in the Damocles universe, and he was extremely enthusiastic.

Injury and Focus on Lore

Unfortunately, I suffered a severe leg injury from falling into a river, which has left me immobilized for a month. However, this gives me the perfect opportunity to focus on the Damocles lore, the miniatures for Patreon, and especially the city of Tenkyo, which will soon be on Kickstarter.
