After months of hard work, I’m excited to share some big progress on the army lists for my upcoming game! 🎉 I now have only five more lists to complete, and once they’re done, I’ll be able to shift my focus to refining the lore and working on special rules to give even more depth and personality to each faction. The core work is nearly finished, and that’s an incredible milestone!
What’s Left to Do?
⚖️ Fine-Tuning Army Point Costs – There are still some minor inconsistencies in the point calculations, so I’ll need to either rework the system slightly or do some debugging to ensure balance across all armies.
📖 Expanding the Lore & Special Rules – Each faction already has its identity, but I want to go even further in fleshing out the world and creating unique rules that make every army feel distinct and immersive.
🛠️ Developing Game Support Tools – Once the army lists are complete, I can focus more on building in-game tools to make gameplay smoother and more accessible. Here’s what I’m planning:
- A Battle Management Tool – Helps players track scenarios, calculate victory points, and manage their games efficiently.
- PDF List Printing – Easily generate custom army lists in PDF format for quick reference during play.
- Online Rulebook – Not just a PDF, but fully accessible rules integrated into the website for better navigation.
- Campaign Management & Saves – A system to track campaigns, manage progression, and store game data for a seamless experience.
A Thrilling Journey Ahead!
There’s still a lot of coding and development ahead, especially in terms of army management, updates, and balancing the game’s meta, but I’m absolutely thrilled by how everything is coming together. While there are still months of work ahead, reaching this stage is a huge achievement, and I wanted to share my excitement with all of you!
💬 I’d love to hear your thoughts—what kind of tools and features would you love to see in the game? Let me know in the comments!
Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you all for your support! 🚀⚔️
